Dirty Dancing the night away!
Last night was a blast! I took abbie2006 and traciesbloomers and their friends Sarah and Sharon for cocktails and a night out at the West End show Dirty Dancing!
We met at Smollenskys on the Strand for lots of Sex on the Beach, a couple of Raspberry Mules and some yummy snacks to soak up the alcohol!
Then, after hailing a cab to the Aldwych Theatre – and being laughed at because it was only 100 metres down the road (well I didn’t realise), we grabbed some more drinks and lots of sweets (our pudding) and settled down for the show.
Sharon immediately got excited and we soon found out why - Dirty Dancing is her favourite film ever - apparently she’s watched it nearly 200 times! Nobody puts Sharon in the corner…
The show was brilliant; the songs are classic, and it kept us all totally entertained! We had the time of our lives I’d say!
After a couple of photo opportunities outside the theatre, we made our way home, but not before doing a bit more star spotting! I managed to pap Sheridan Smith of Legally Blonde fame exiting the stage door after her show! The photos from the night are on their way!
