Instead of forcing your family to work out on a vigorous schedule you can simply let them know about why it pays to be healthy and you can even find out enjoyable ways of working out for them. This way you get to preserve your family’s health and they also have fun.

Sometimes families have inbuilt exercise routines in them where one member heads to the gym, while the other goes for a walk or they go on biking trips together and so on. Just like normally families watch a movie together or eat together, you can exercise with the rest of your family members together.

Try and figure out what the activities which different members in your family are performing. Say for example, going for a bike ride with friends or swimming with friends and so on. This way you can find out what your family members enjoy doing and hence this can be combined into one big exercise routine which you can carry out with your family.

When you are out with your family performing exercises or event you have to keep in mind that fluids should be readily available. This is going to help in preventing dehydration especially if you have kids in your family. If it is possible try and plan the events or sports under a tree or shade. Also keep various fruits and snacks ready for munching.

When you decide to plan out physical activities for your family take into consideration the amount each member is able to perform. For example if you go biking then a certain member will be able to go up to the top while the other can only bike to a certain point. These are the things which you need to consider. But always along with these you will have to keep the safety of your family in mind.

Finally you need to consider heat stroke. If your family goes swimming or indulges in any other physical activity under the sun then heat stroke is something you need to keep an eye out for. Just because you are getting into the pool water and coming out doesn’t mean that all of you will be fine.

How To Grow Taller Naturally

Did you know that man is set to become shorter as he evolves? A lot of us are already displaying this startling fact. People are somehow growing shorter with time! But there’s still hope, if you try to, you can ensure that your kids don’t end up all that short. I’m not saying that we can be so presumptuous as to think that we can fight evolution, but we can definitely try and give our kids’ heights a boost.

First off, in order to grow taller you have to be eating all the right kind of food. Children should be made to eat fruits and vegetables as often as possible. In fact the food which actually helps to increase height is mainly food rich in calcium and proteins. So the best food for this would be – you guessed it!- milk!

Proteins are rich in amino acids. They consist of enzymes and hormones which do much to stimulate growth. So you should definitely be feeding your kids a whole lot of protein rich foods. These include legumes, fish, and milk. Carbs are good, but too much of them is bad. Make sure you keep this in mind while figuring out your children’s diets.

Another thing which you should definitely include in your children’s diets is Vitamins. We tend to underestimate their importance and often don’t even get enough of them! But vitamins are really important – for growth in pretty much every stage of life.

There are two kinds of vitamins that one needs to include in the diet – fat soluble vitamins and water soluble vitamins. Where can you get adequate levels of vitamins? There are always fortified breakfast cereals and breads to choose from, green vegetables and fruit too are good sources of vitamins. Try to incorporate as much of them in your diet as you can.

Lastly, let’s not underestimate the importance of exercising. Exercising the Spinal Column especially is what is required if you want to grow tall. Thus the spinal column begins to get compressed and the space between the vertebrae actually reduces, making you short! So you should always remember to do stretching exercises.

In fact, try and make it as pleasant as possible. Make a sport of it. Play basketball if you like or go swimming. Do all the things you enjoy doing to grow taller. It is totally possible! And never, never give up!

For That Perfect Pout…

One of the most noticed parts of a girl’s face is her lips. Have you ever envied people who have those perfect puckers, wishing your lips were half as good as theirs? You probably have, but what you don’t know, is that it isn’t Nature’s gift at all! Getting those perfect puckers requires hard work, and of course knowledge of some tips and tricks which I am about to share with you.

Firstly, you should keep in mind that the skin on your lips is really delicate – it is the only skin on your body which doesn’t have pores. The skin is so sensitive that if you smoke you can darken it. In fact, even the Sun’s rays can darken the lips. So when you’re applying sunscreen, make sure you slather some onto your lips as well and do avoid smoking!

Next you need to exfoliate your lips on a regular basis. But wait, I don’t mean that you should give your lips a regular scrubbing with your loofah! What you should use instead is a toothbrush and give your lips a really gentle scrubbing, moving the toothbrush in circular motion – this serves two purposes, it removes all your dead cells and also keeps your lips soft. Do this about once a week.

When you’re exfoliating your lips, try to use a mixture of rose water and sugar or honey and sugar. The sugar crystals achieve the abrasive effect needed to exfoliate the skin and at the same time, you can just lick your lips to clean them up!

Now before you use any kind of lipstick at all, make sure you layer your lips with lip balm to protect them. This also serves the additional purpose of making your lipstick appear fresh all day. While you apply the lip balm, make sure that a thick layer is applied because it has the effect of making your lips look plumper and fuller. The result? Beautiful lips!

Every night, before you go to sleep, apply moisturizer to your lips. Make sure that the layer is thick enough to ensure that your lips look completely white (or the color that your moisturizer is of). You can be rest assured that every morning you will wake up with soft and kissable lips! Oh and don’t forget to add a touch of gloss after you’re done wearing your matte lipstick for that stunning effect!
