Hi there. I still cannot believe I won that game - I keep pinching myself to check I'm not dreaming!
I had only joined this site a few days previously and noticed the feature on the new 10K game. During the few days prior to 10 March, I purchased several tickets at a time until finally I had purchased the maximum of 24.
On the night of 10 March, I was watching TV and it was approx 10.10 pm when I realised I had forgotten to log on and watch the game.
I was just about to go to bed and halfheartedly thought I would log on to see which lucky player had won! As soon as I entered a chat room I could see that there was a lot of activity and people were asking who had won. I just glanced and noticed my user name joelybay mentioned and looked at the top of the screen and my balance was £10,000!!
My first thought was oh my god this must be a joke - maybe Wink Bingo had just entered this figure on everyone's account to show them what could be won! I then asked someone who had won and they said "you did".
This was when I started shaking and my heart started racing. I raced upstairs and told my husband and daughter and then telephoned my mum sister and anyone else I could think of.
Never slept a wink that night and I don't think it has actually sunk in yet! My young son is getting a nintendo wii and the rest will be spent on a luxury holiday for the family after a good shopping spree.
May I wish all the players the best of luck for 10 April because if I can win it anyone can!!
