You have to distress your overworked mind. But this does not necessarily mean that you have to leave the office to do it. Sometimes all you need is a tiny little mental break at work. This will actually help you get the job done well and on time too. these tips are going to help you distress.

• Find out what the cause of the stress is. All you have to do is ask yourself why you are stressing out so much. If you acknowledge the cause of stress your mind is going to take a few seconds to process this and then you can come up with a way of tacking your obstacle.

• You can take a walk for just 5 minutes. All you have to do is get up from your cubicle or chair and walk around the rest of the office or the various floors in your office. You need to get the blood in your legs and back flowing. You can even go to the rest room. This way you break up the workflow and this will help to get you focused again and it helps to distress you quite an extent.

• You can even get your iPod to work. Sometimes you will find that offices have rules about not playing music while at work or even listening to your iPod. But you will find that just a 3 minute song will provide you with relief from stress for the rest of the entire day. You can either listen to it during your break or when you work you can plug the earphones in.

• You can even take a picture that you like with you. If you have a special picture you will be able to look at it and reflect on special memories. You even get a boost of energy from the feeling that you get by looking at that picture.

• Finally you can sometimes reflect on why you are doing the job. What matter to you at the end of the day. This way you will be able to feel less upset about things once you see the bigger picture.
