Are You a Hothead? Learn How to Stay Mentally Healthy by Controlling Your Anger

When you get stressed out that’s when you feel out blood boiling and you turn into a monster, a complete hot head and you can feel the anger take control of your body. Now this can even lead to other problems like depressions, the flu, heat attacks and so on.
Now along with these physical problems you will also have fights which are stressful and also relationship problems. All of this is because you just can’t control your anger. But then if you have the correct techniques you will find that you can stay in control even when anger oozes out of you.
• Breathe. When you are angry the most important thing to do would be focus on your breathing. You can put your hand over your chest and thank take a very deep breathe through your nose.
• You can even count silently. Count to five and notice how your chest moves in and out as you breathe. Focus on how your diaphragm moves and the breath which is there in your lungs.
• You can also let your breath out slowly through your lips while you count to ten. You again have to notice the movement which goes on in your chest.
• Redirecting your anger is a good thing. Redirect it into any sort of sport or a hobby. If you channel your anger into outlets which are creative like say music, or writing or dancing it really helps you.
• Don’t bottle the anger and frustration in you. When it explodes you won’t be able to control it. You should communicate your feeling to someone who is close to you and someone who is willing to help out.
• You have to regain control over the entire situation. When you are blinded by your anger you lose control of a situation. But then you have to try and regain that control. You also need to try and walk away instead of lashing out in anger.
• The best thing to do would be to escape from this stressful situation before they take place. You can leave the place and then go to a calm place and sit down and relax before you get completely angry. This way you don’t have to deal with the situation and you won’t get angry and do something you will regret.

How to Prepare Yourself to Fight the Flu Season

Research has shown us that an average adult usually get the cold or the flu thrice a year, especially those who come in contact with young children. Now you can’t do anything to stop the flu but then there are ways by which you can prevent the flue from affecting you.
• Make sure you know what the difference between the cold and flu is. A cold will usually stay for around three weeks but then the person will feel better say after a week. Then again a flu virus is dangerous and if you don’t treat it properly it might just lead to something like pneumonia or bronchitis.
• You need to wash your hands as much as you can. If you keep washing it frequently using warm water and soap then you keep reducing the chances of getting affected by germs. You can even use different anti bacterial gels if you cant get water and soap.
• Your home should be disinfected on a regular basis. Make sure that you spray all of the surfaces in your bathroom and your kitchen using a mild solution which has 2 per cent bleach in it so that you can get rid of any sort of bacteria and virus.
• If you live with people who are in the high risk population then you should probably get a vaccination for the flue.
• Make sure that you have a diet which is very well balanced. This will help to build up your immune system. Have your multivitamins daily because you have to get a certain dose of vitamins as well as minerals everyday.
• You also need to rest a lot. You have to get at least 8 hours of sleep a night. If you have lack of sleep then it might just lower the immune system of the body. So the immune system won’t react the way it’s supposed to when needed.
• Finally you have to make sure that your medicine cabinet is completely stocked. Make sure that you have all the over counter supply of medication which you will need for relieving you. You can use these when you see the symptoms. Also when you are sick going out and getting medication is going to be very hard for you so the best thing to do would be to stock up from before.

Stay Fit Using Low Impact Cardiac Exercises

There are various exercises which help you to stay fit and also are very good for your heart and the cardio vascular system. a lot of people are afraid to exercise because they are scared that it will be too much for their body and it will be too tiring. But then you will find that various exercises are there which will help you heart and it wont even put a strain on your body.
One of the easiest of these exercises is walking. It is one of the easiest low impact exercises you can perform. If you walk you get to strengthen your heart. Blood will be able to flow through your body with less effort. You can even lower your blood pressure if you walk. Walking will also help you to lower the risk of getting a heart disease. You can start off with walking for around 15 minutes and then you can keep increasing it. Add another 15 minutes to it the next time then the time after you can add 5 more minutes and so on.
Another easy exercise is to walk the treadmill. This is just like walking but then you don’t do it in your neighborhood. The best part about this is that you get to control the speed at which you walk on the belt. You can even program things like hills or speed intervals into the treadmill. If you incline the ramp of the mill and if you increase the speed then you will be able to make your heart as well as your leg muscles stronger. Again you can start at an interval of 15 minutes and then you can keep increasing it by an interval of 5 minutes.
Finally we have step aerobics. This is an excellent way by which you can increase your heart rate. You don’t even put stress on your joints by exercising this way. In this type of exercising you need a small step or even a small stool. You will find that these steps are available at your local gym or recreation center. When you have to perform step exercises you need to walk, bend, squat, step on a stool and also perform various types of motion exercises. As you keep increase the duration as well as the speed of the exercises you will find that they get harder and harder.
