The Death of a “Clueless” Star

The 32 year old Clueless star, Brittany Murphy had died on Sunday morning due to a cardiac arrest. Her husband had called up 911 early Sunday morning but then when the actress was brought to the Cedars- Sinai Medical center which is located in Los Angels, she was pronounced to be “dead upon arrival”.
The representative of the family made a statement saying, “in this time of sadness, the family thanks you for your love and support. It is their wish that you respect their privacy.” Also her former flame Ashton Kutcher twittered after hearing the deeply saddening news, saying, “2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband and her amazing mother, Sharon.”
He also added to twitter later on, “see you on the other side, kid”. This chirpy little actress had started with her career at only nine years, which was on a Broadway show called Les Miserables. After this she had many short lived roles on television before she finally got her breakthrough role in Clueless as Tai in 1995.
After this her major role was in the movie called 8 mile which was opposite Eminem. Now apart from movies she also gained quite a bit of fame when she was dating Ashton Kutcher and this was when they were filming their movie Just Married. Although this relationship didn’t last, Murphy still kept her dating life very active.
She had also been engaged quite a number of times. The first one was to her agent called Jeff Kwatinetz and then the production assistant of the “Little Black Book”, Joe Macaluso and then she finally landed up marrying her screen writer Simon Monjack. The wedding had taken place in 2007.
Now this “sweet” (that’s what almost every one of her co stars have used to describe her) actress was loved by everyone. According to Clueless co star, Alicia Silverstone, “I’m so saddened to hear this news. I loved working with Brittany. She was so talented, so warm and so sweet. I always felt connected to her and we shared a very special experience in our lives together. I feel love in my heart for her and hope she is at peace.” Eric Roberts, her co star from Spun says, “Another sad, sad loss. She was a sweet, smart girl and a real actress.”

The Jonas, Deleasa Wedding This Weekend?

For those of you who don’t know what we’re talking about here a little flashback for you. Kevin Jonas of the Jonas brothers, 21 had gotten engaged to his girlfriend whom he was going out with for two years, Danielle Deleasa in July this year. The couple had first met in May when their families were on vacation in the Bahamas.
If you’re wondering abs out how he proposed? Well, the was at a concert the night before, got on a red eye which went to new Jersey and then proposed to her at her doorstep! Well, wouldn’t every girl want to be in Danielle’s shoes? According to Kevin’s parents, “our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage. Her answer is yes and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family.”
So that we the little recapitulation for you. Now moving on to the current news, the wedding between Jonas and Deleasa is going to take place this Saturday! The wedding is set to take place in the Oheka Castle which is located at Long Island. So it turns out that it is going to be a wedding fit for a king and queen.
Now this is what certain sources have said, but you always know how celebrities are with their weddings. The 21 year old star and his 22 year old bride is apparently all set to say “I do” in his French Chateau inspired “palace” which is family run. Now setting a date for the wedding wasn’t very easy due to the conflict with the Jonas brothers touring dates.
According to a relative from the Deleasa family, Christina Longo, her aunt commented on Jonas when asked, saying, “He’s just a wonderful guy and we love him.” Now the rehearsal for this winter wonderland fantasy is going to take place on Friday night and the actual wedding on Saturday.
When the other two brothers were asked to comment about this relationship, here’s what Nick said, “Kevin and Danielle were on the beach walking and Joe was like, ‘Oh, they’re gonna get married’ then a couple years later, they were engaged and now we’re here”.
So it turns out that this couple is actually quite happy. The only problem which remains is the question of who is going to be the best man. According to Nick, “We’ve talked about it a little bit. He’s working it all out, but we’ll see what happens.”

Daughter “is going to be Fine”: Billy Joel

Alexa Ray Joel was apparently very “distraught over a fight with her boyfriends”. Now this condition had caused her to take a lot of pills. Now Joel has two performance scheduled on the 10th of December in the city of New York but then no comment is being made on if the show is going to be postponed or not.
Now although the entire year, the public had their eyes set on Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley only, it is their daughter Alexa on which all eyes turned after the incident. Alexa, 23, was rushed to St. Vincent’s Medical center which is in Manhattan on the Sunday afternoon when there was a suspicion of an overdose of pills. According to reports FDNY in which the daughter of the famous singer said that she couldn’t breathe after she had taken the pills.
According to her rep, “She is stable. Her doctors are assessing her needs. That’s all we can say at this moment”. They have also stated that “Alexa is feeling much better. She is with her family and looking forward to getting back on track”. Joel also made a comment saying “I want to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support”.
Now according to a few source daddy’s little girl might just be going back to her. Alexa apparently has already been released from the hospital and Manhattan and will apparently be recuperating at dad’s house which is on Long island. Apparently mom, Christie Brinkley stayed by her side while she was inside the hospital after her attempt at suicide after 8 pills. Billy Joel also stayed in touch with her over the phone which she was there.
Joel promised all the eagerly waiting fans that “she is going to be fine”. Now this was the drama which is the first we’ve heard of coming from the Joel family after Joel’s split with his ex wife Katie Lee. This had happened after the couple had been married for 5 years. Although Katie had been fired from her previous show where she was the host called The Top Chef and Billy had gone off to rehab, the couple seemed quite happy and no one could tell they were on this path. Now although Katie had always hoped that they would have a child together, this dream of hers was never fulfilled.
